The first episode establishes the profound grief of the filmmaker (Montréal Cain) following the death of his daughter, juxtaposed against the catastrophic August 10, 2025, Milwaukee floods. The narrative explores how the terrifying realization that his daughter’s grave was submerged drove him to create FloodHope500.org, turning his brokenness into a beautiful movement of community service.
